Design for Long wave/Medium wave/Short wave/VHF/UHF aerial.  This is a very strange aerial indeed as it will work successfully at any frequency.  I used this as a VHF receiving aerial, and it seems to have an impedance of 75W.  But when you try and measure the impedance, the whole thing is short-circuited.

So as I say, all very odd, but it works well.
